A Decision Support System to Invest in Road Infrastructure for Alleviating Urban Poverty
Fighting poverty in developing nations is key to economic development, social stability and people’s wellbeing. Inadequate investment in road infrastructure and improper provision of road infrastructure contribute to the poor economic development and lack of reliable provision of effective transportation for adequate movement of people to the job market, to health and educational facilities or to the goods market.
Developing an innovative manufacturing approach that responds to the requirements for small electric vehicles
The aim is to produce an innovative design/manufacturing approach that will provide for SEV a flexible and resilient approach to manufacturing that incorporates the new demands that are placed upon the system in terms of technology innovation and external factors identified during the research activity (e.g. regulatory activity). The research will be supported by the activities of international working groups on SEV and e-mobility.
