How to Apply

If you’ve chosen the course that you feel is right for you the next step is to make your application.

Entry Requirements

CU Scarborough ensure that all applications are managed according to the nationally agreed framework and appropriate standards.

We will typically require:

Foundation Year 40 UCAS tariff points
Higher National Certificate (HNC) 64 UCAS tariff points
Higher National Diploma (HND) 80 UCAS tariff points
BA/BSc Hons Degree 104 UCAS tariff points
5 GCSEs at grade A-C including Mathematics and English are required for all courses.


Applicants who do not fulfil the above entry criteria will be considered on an individual basis, taking into account other factors. 

Full-time Study

If you’re interested in a full-time course your application must be submitted via UCAS.

Once you’ve registered you can start the application process you will need;

Access to HE Study

For our Access to HE courses you can apply to us by downloading our online application form and returning it to

Formal qualifications are not mandatory for entry. Assessment will be via a 30 minute discussion and a short numeracy and literacy test. For applicants whose first language is not English, we will require an English language competence by completing a successful Secure English Language Test (SELT) with a minimum score of 6.0 or an equivalent level 2 qualification.
