The route, which was announced on the 9th of December spans over 515km (approximately 320 miles). Riders will navigate their way through the stunning Yorkshire terrain, before coming to a successful end in Scarborough.
It was estimated that the 2015 race was watched by over 1 million people, bringing £50million into the region’s economy.
Some of the most challenging conditions riders will face is actually near the end of the three day event, where they will reach speeds of up to 50 MPH as they sprint towards the finish line.
