Part-time courses at CU London are delivered in a structured format in order to suit the needs of learners with busy lives. This study mode is suitable for those looking for a convenient route into higher education. Our part-time courses are currently delivered on a Saturday (9am-6pm), or if the demand is high enough, selected courses can also run on weekday evenings.

Our part-time degree programmes are broken down into three stages; HNC, HND and degree. Each stage is made up of four blocks; a single block is six weeks in duration. This means if you opt to study four blocks in one academic year, you will complete your degree course in three years, obtaining a HNC (year one), a HND (year two), and a degree (year three).

University on a Saturday

Studying on a Saturday is a popular choice amongst students; It gives you the opportunity to fit in higher education alongside your full-time work, or other commitments. If you study four blocks in one academic year you’ll be able to complete the degree within three years, making it a viable study mode for a lot of adult learners.

University in the evening

Evening study is an option which appeals to learners that are looking for higher education courses taught outside of mainstream teaching hours. This could enable those who previously thought a degree course would be unobtainable due to time constraints. You undertake three modules per academic year, allowing you to keep your weekends and daytimes free for other commitments.

Our evening study option is subject to demand, so please outline evening study is your preferred choice during the application process.
